New Stuff

Hey All,

Time for a new update. I recently upgraded the forum to the new 4.0 branch which added alot of functionality including an integrated content management system as well as integrated blogs. Everything has been transferred over with the exception of lots of old mods which are not compatible with the new branch as of yet. I am still working on grabbing the award images from the old version, they should be back up soon.

The old points system will not be revived due to security related bugs, and the developer has pretty much dropped the project.

I will be bringing back the arcade once a compatible version comes out.

As I mentioned before I have finally brought us an IRC server that is accessible from the web chat under the extras menu. Or via our URL using standard IRC ports (6667-6669) including 2 SSL ports (7000 and 6697).

SSL functionality is being tweaked for the website it self. I am considering the disabling of posting external images and increasing peoples limits on the albums so we can avoid those nasty partially encrypted errors.

In other news we have added good ajax based translation on the site, so if you prefer to read in your native language it is available, I'm still curious as to whether it will translate non-English posts, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

A big congratulations go to animegirl86 on creating our new logo which she has generously provided in both blue and red to accommodate both of our themes.

I have also added a donation link to the navigation bar to give people the chance to support the site financially if the so choose.
